Fall for Dance is a unique presentation of choreographic works performed by the soul stirring Ad Deum Dance Company and created by such distinguished choreographers as Steve Rooks – principal dancer with Martha Graham Dance Company, Bill Wade of Inlet Dance Theatre –Cleveland, Christina Schanta – formerly with Ballet Arizona, and Randall Flinn-director of Ad Deum.
Mr. Rooks has created Redemption, an impassioned work that reflects upon the life of Gomer – an adulteress who is sold into slavery. As a recipient of Houston Arts Alliance’s Individual Artists Grant, Mr. Flinn presents his new work Innocence Not Lost, a revealing look into the issue and horrors of human sex trafficking. Bill Wade presents his mythic wonder of quirky amazements in the cirque-style of Wondrous Beasts. Christiana Schanta’s lyrical and emotionally compelling Permanence is sure to move the heart of the hurting with the hope of healing. Special Friday night guests, the famed Houston Metropolitan Dance Company will premiere Randall Flinn’s newest work Where Beauty Washes the Soul, featuring the music of Yo Yo Ma and Ennio Morricone. Mr. Flinn describes this new work as “truly pure movement, not contrived or worked, but simply experienced and given in return.”

Ad Deum Dance Company, founded and directed by Randall Flinn, is a professional Houston, Texas based contemporary/modern dance company. The company is comprised of dancers that have found home in Houston from all across the globe.
